Initial fit should allow the foot to settle naturally into the sandal's foot bed so that your foot sits inside the edge of the foot bed all the way around. This allows plenty of room for your toes to spread out and no area of the foot is pinched. The front straps and second straps should be secured snugly against the foot. Once these are set, adjust your cushioned backstrap so it rests comfortably against the sides and back of the heel.
